Check me out! I slapped a GoPro on the front of my board and made internet history. Along with about 6 million other people.

A taste of my journey so far
Below is a small sampling of various projects I have completed over the past several years. The most recent being from Zodiac Pool Systems. Some aren't really projects at all, but things I have done out of sheer inspiration. But most if not all have been rewarding in their own way. For me it is not always the end result (sometimes it is), but the journey itself. I hope you enjoy my labor as much as I enjoy doing it.

Designing for the WEB from a traditional print graphic design background can be done. The trick is understanding the WEB environment and how people use it. I did not build this site, I only helped design it. My input was strictly on the surface and planning end of it. I directed the design, creating the look and feel using Adobe CS Illustrator and Photoshop only. The built site was done in another country, by a gentlemen I don't even know. The site is not perfect, there are some things that could be done better—regarding the typography, transitions, and formatting—but generally it is exactly what I intended visually and functionally. Although there are many companies that can provide beautiful templates for any range of content, there is something to be said about creating a website from a traditional well rounded graphic design professional. They can help provide something unique and true to the clients goals.

Bamboozled
The above poster, I designed, oh, about a decade ago, made it on this website’s top 50 posters list. My buddy Qwan forwarded me this link, asking if anything I had designed showed up on this site. And low and behold there it was. So, it is kind of nice to be recognized by a blog that purports, "to showcasing the best artists, graphic designers, illustrations, short and longform films, architecture, photography, fashion, music and gadgets". And no, I have never met Spike Lee.
I did this for 1124 Design Advertising. There is also another version, where a racist picaninny character was used instead of the actors (visit www.sfkgd.com to view this one), but that version was banned in the New York Daily Times. The one above, was actually an alternate version and somehow deemed less racist than the original picaninny version. Regardless, it was a privilege to work on this project and actually have something printed. And yeah, it would have been nice to meet Spike Lee.
